Purpose: To ensure computer automation systems function effectively and to resolve user and system related problems. Nature & Scope: Position holder is responsible for performing or assisting in the overall maintenance and operation of the computer system(s) for given locations Northern and Central Indiana based out of Greenwood , Indiana . Monitoring occurs on both a daily and an ongoing basis and entails the administering of system security and control, scheduling the availability of system resources, and foreseeing growth needs of the system. With m The position requires knowledge of company operations in order to develop optimal business computer systems. Responsibility for performing and/or coordinating system maintenance requires familiarity with computer hardware and software. Strong problem-solving, technical and analytical skills are essential to resolve user or mechanical problems. Flexibility, organizational skills and sound time management practices are needed to handle multiple tasks with minimal supervision. Good interpersonal and communication skills are required for interactions with employees, managers and outside contacts and for training responsibilities. Due to constant development, integration and deployment of systems and services, as well as problem resolution, this position demands flexibility and the ability to prioritize and to meet deadlines. This position demands reliability, thoroughness, integrity and the ability to follow instructions. Principal Duties: Manage the real estate closing process from start to finish. Comply with real estate contracts, lenders instructions, title requirements, company requirements and other written instructions. Prepare and secure all closing documents necessary to insure title insurance is able to be issued at or after closing. Conduct actual closings with customer, realtor, lenders and attorneys. Assist customers and clients with closing related questions. Oversee the issuance of checks, bills and statements, receipts and other documents needed to ensure customer satisfaction and issuance of title insurance. Ensure all payoffs have been collected, mailed, delivered or wired according to instructions. Verify that all disbursements have been paid correctly. Performs other duties as assigned. Principal Duties: Generate new business and maintain good public relations with existing customers. Coordinate and present effective presentations on varied subject matter to customer groups. Attend business luncheons and seminars for business development purposes. Responsible for an effective/operation of the sales/marketing department. Principal Duties: Reviews various searches, recorded documents, chain of title and applies preliminary title exceptions to property files. Prepares and types title reports, commitments, policies of title insurance, etc. for closing and issuance of final policies of title insurance using title production systems. This may include verifying an updated chain, waiving or adding objections or listing appropriate endorsements to avoid claims, and/or other actions. Advises staff on legal description matters to resolve problems and ensure adequacy of descriptions prior to issuance of commitment. Researches statutes and interprets legal issues concerning title clearance. Takes pro-active positions by responding to customer inquiries and resolving problems on customer files related to final clearance of outstanding title issues. Interprets and explains various sections of the title report (commitments and policies) for the customer. erforms other duties as assigned.
